Guilloume is a master of “Bolismo” an emotional style using simple forms, textures and movements to exhibit human feelings from the most complex to the most simplest. Guilloume’s canvas is a unique expression of earthly humanism with its joys, afflictions, and fears. Born in Colombia in 1957, he dedicated himself to art at an early age and completed formal studies at Bellas Artes Institute in 1981. Employing oils, watercolors, oil-pastel, pastel, pencil, ink and most recently sculpture in bronze and stone. Guilloume maintains his studio fine art gallery in Sandia Park near Santa Fe, New Mexico-USA.
Pedestrian Art, a program of The Arts Council of Wilmington/NHC, features the installation of 10-12 sculptures throughout downtown Wilmington each year. The program is made possible through support from the City of Wilmington, The Artworks°™, Craige & Fox LLC, Art in Bloom Gallery, the Dreams Center for Arts Education, the Downtown Business Alliance, and Slice of Life Pizza.
