This is an image of the sunrise taken at Fort Fisher. This was achieved by crawling back into one of the bushes that are feet from the shoreline and shooting the sunrise through the dense leaves. I printed this on metallic paper to bring out the shimmer of these streaks of light. This was produced with a very dramatic and fast movement of the camera – the streaks of gold are the sun and the white are the clouds.
