Join us at Thalian Hall on Sunday, June 8th, 2025 for a very special feature film screening of “Full Circle: Fiber Art by Rebecca Yeomans” on the big screen!
Fiber Artist Rebecca Yeomans’ fascinating process and story combine botanical printing, knitting, and stitching with a painterly feel. The film “Full Circle: Fiber Art by Rebecca Yeomans” captures the artist in her home studio and foraging for leaves and other botanical materials to create her original art. Each piece is unique and always a surprise whether a scarf or a piece of cloth on canvas. The process involves many steps including the relationship with the natural world inherent in the process: foraging walks, growing her own dye plants, the aroma of cooking eucalyptus, and the opening of a bundle to reveal what gift Mother Nature has given. The story of “Full Circle” reveals the artist’s childhood love of exploring nature and making art into her evolution as an artist.
The film is produced by Art in Bloom Gallery and Amy N. Grant and is directed and edited by Honey Head Films.
