Have you ever thought to yourself about how powerful works of art are created, where inspiration is ignited and how artists tap into their creativity? This is the premise of this 2-day workshop taught by art educator Matthew French! Matthew believes that this power comes from being in touch with our hearts.

 

Workshop techniques will be based on contemplative exploration including guided meditation, resulting in a personal hand-made object that can be displayed as a form of inspiration. Creative activities during this engaging workshop will focus on constructing a mixed media armature with materials such as wood, sticks, wire, paper, and materials from the landscape.

Students are encouraged to bring in any supplies that they typically work with are welcome in this workshop.  This class is for any level of artist interested in new inspiration techniques to inform their art!
