WORKSHOPS
Getting to the Heart of Your ArtHave you ever thought to yourself about how powerful works of art are created, where inspiration is ignited and how artists tap into their creativity? Sculptor & instructor Matthew French believes this power comes from being in touch with our hearts.
In this 2-day workshop, assemble wire, paper and natural materials into your very own hanging relief sculpture! Workshop techniques will be based on contemplative exploration including guided meditation, resulting in a personal hand-made object that can be displayed as a form of inspiration.
All necessary supplies will be provided, but students welcome to bring additional materials on the second day to incorporate into their sculpture. This class is for any level of artist interested in new inspiration techniques to inform their art!
Note: This class will meet from 10 am–2pm on Saturday, September 13th and from 12–4 pm on Sunday, September 14th.
