Join us at Jengo’s Playhouse on Friday, April 17th for a magical event!
The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T (1953) is a live-action musical fantasy film, and the only feature-length movie written and designed by Dr. Seuss (Theodor Geisel). It follows a young boy named Bart who dreams of a surreal, totalitarian world where his hated piano teacher, Dr. Terwilliker, enslaves 500 boys to play a massive piano forever.
Art in Bloom Gallery is delighted to partner with Cucalorus’s Jengo’s Spring Series. A panel discussion and Q&A will follow the matinee and evening screening with filmmaker Christina Capra, Dr. Seuss expert Mike Golonka, and Art in Bloom Gallery owner Amy N. Grant.
There will be 2 viewings on Friday with a Matinee at 4:00pm and at 7:30pm, followed by a Q & A with filmmaker Christina Capra and Gallery of Fine Art owner Michael Golonka, who has represented the Art of Dr. Seuss for the past 25 years.
