Art in Bloom Gallery is Moving!

Book an Appointment!

Our gallery team is excited to announce the next chapter of Art in Bloom Gallery. The gallery will be making a new move from our current location, 6866 Main Street, just around the corner to 970 Inspiration Drive in Mayfaire Town Center in February 2025! Mark your calendars for a grand-reopening & 10th Anniversary reception on Sunday, March 9, 2025, 2−5pm.

The gallery will be open at its current location, 6866 Main Street, through January 29, 2025. Preparation of the new space at 970 Inspiration Drive will happen in February, and the gallery will re-open to the public in March 2025.

Founded in 2015, Art in Bloom Gallery’s first home was 850 sf gallery with an 11′ ceiling was in the historic Quinlivan Building at 210 Princess St. downtown. Seven years later in 2022, we moved to Main St. in Mayfaire Town Center to expand.

Many people know 970 Inspiration Drive as the former Gallery of Fine Art including art by Dr. Seuss. When owners Michael and Cyndi Golonka retired last August, the space at 970 Inspiration Drive became available. This new space, only a few blocks away from Art in Bloom Gallery’s current location, offers an additional 1000 sf, high ceilings, and abundant natural light from its front windows. This move is a great business opportunity to enhance presentation of the art and to expand access to over thirty artists represented by the gallery.

As in our current location, the gallery team will change art in the new space about every six weeks with original art by featured artists and new art from our regular artists, a combination of local, regional, and artists from other states. Areas towards the middle and back will be reserved to continually display and sell the art of master ceramist, Traudi Thornton (1940-2023) and of renowned sculptor, painter, and mixed-media artist, Dorothy M. Gillespie (1920-2012).

We look forward to continuing the gallery’s collaboration with non-profit organizations and with other groups and individuals in the community. According to our gallery owner, Amy Grant, “It seems like yesterday that the gallery opened at 210 Princess Street in 2015. Ten years later, it continues to be an adventure and wonderful experience to show original art and tell the story of each artist. Thanks to a great team of five employees, over 30 artists, family, friends, and loyal customers, we have been able to expand and to also branch out via our website (https://aibgallery.com/), filmmaking, creative partnerships, and collaboration with film production companies.”

Art in Bloom Gallery is open every day of the week in our current space and will be open every day of the week in our new space. We will share more details as we prepare for the move to our new space at 970 Inspiration Drive, Mayfaire Town Center. The gallery will continue to be open by appointment during February for all your art needs, and the website (https://aibgallery.com/) is always open!
