Painting the still life is a wonderful way to hone your painting skills and is a foundational tool for painting all subjects, including landscapes and figures. You will explore light, color, three dimensional form, hard and soft edges, creating depth in the picture plane and composition. The instructor, gallery artist Joanne Geisel, will provide exercises in color theory and color mixing and give demonstrations and lots of individual and group instruction.
