Meet Thomas and Elizabeth Gilanyi, the publishers of artGuide Magazine covering fine art in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia. Learn more artGuide’s mission to make the southeastern US more of a visible and connected arts destination including Atlanta, Charleston, Savannah, Asheville, Charlotte, Raleigh, Wilmington, and Richmond.
In addition, Thomas and Elizabeth would like to share “artGuide’s plans for 2017 and their new partnership with a technology firm providing galleries and artists with smart phone apps in which patrons can listen to “talking” artwork and can scan images and view galleries’ entire portfolios. End users can literally see artwork on their walls in 3D augmented reality. Patrons from across the US can view your artwork on their walls in real size.”
Heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served.
ABOUT the PUBLISHERS of artGuide Magazine
In November 2010 Thomas Gilanyi started the Charlotte Art Guide as a weekend hobby. Six months later Elizabeth came on board as a part-time employee. Now married, Thomas and Elizabeth have overseen artGuide’s growth from a small local visual arts publication to a regional art magazine covering dozens of art scenes across four states.
artGuide is now expanding to new coverage areas on a monthly basis and with our partnership with tech firm Auger Labs, artGuide is now the only publication featuring state of the art mobile app technology and is posed for rapid national expansion.
