This event has been postponed due to COVID-19 State of Emergency. The event will be rescheduled after the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
Join us for a special poetry reading by Addy McCulloch addressing Social Justice. The poetry reading and reception are on Sunday, April 19, 2:30 – 4:30 pm, at Art in Bloom Gallery, in downtown Wilmington. Doors open at 2:30 p.m.; and the reading begins at 3:00 p.m. Refreshments provided!
In addition to Addy McCulloch’s poetry reading, there will be an open-reading portion for the public. Readers are invited to read a favorite poem by another writer, to address what made that poem resonate in their life, and then to read a work of their own.
The reading and reception are part of a Sunday Reading Series each month in 2020 at Art in Bloom Gallery. Each Reading has a different focus including guest writers and is free and open to the public. The series celebrates the convergence of the literary and visual arts.
