“Visions of Inspiration: Featuring Artists Brian Evans, Dianne Evans & Kirah Van Sickle with Photography Features by Susan Francy & Barbara Snyder” features 5 artists working in a variety of media. Brian and Dianne are ceramic artists who play with light and shadow on three dimensional surfaces in their functional and decorative pottery. Kirah’s acrylic and mixed media works explore incorporating found objects and papers with paint glazes. Susan Francy and Barbara Snyder are our two photography features who work in a variety of photographic techniques including scanography and object photography. The exhibit will be in the gallery and virtual which continues through July 19, 2020.

Art in Bloom is currently open by appointment only by calling 484-884-3037, or via its website at aibgallery.com. The gallery is also partnering with downtown restaurants The Foxes Boxes, The Basics and Flytrap Brewing. Those who purchase more than $200 of art from Art in Bloom will receive a $25 credit for takeout at these businesses (purchases of less than $200 come with a $10 credit).
As of right now Fourth Friday receptions, held during the Arts Council of Wilmington’s Fourth Friday Gallery Night are on hold until further notice.
