About the Process:
Cyanotype on silver gelatin is a three-step process that requires thoughtful planning and time spent both in a traditional darkroom and outside under the sun. Light from a photographic enlarger is used for the two separate silver gelatin steps, while UV sunlight is used for the cyanotype portion. Sea whips gathered from local beaches are combined with sea shell x-rays and other collected items to create images that are eye-catching and unique.
