Artist Description:

I was on vacation and decided to take my camera with me on a casual nature walk. I was approached by a group of people, noticed my camera, and said, “Not much to photograph this way.” I thanked them and continued my walk. This is a great example of “OBSERVATIONS.” I came across a group of trees that were planted in a circular pattern. I saw strong lines (branches and bushes), and great samples of depth and texture. Seeing the simplicity of the scene and processing the photo as a black and white image brought out the beauty that is there.
